Hepatitis C is one of
the most critical diseases, ever witnessed by the human race. No rock-solid
cures of this syndrome have yet been found by the medical science. Only some
preventions and prescriptions are suggested by the practitioners.
Just like Hepatitis A
and B, Hep C is a virus infection that attacks the liver. As a result of the
virus attack, the liver starts decaying, which ultimately takes the diseased
condition called cirrhosis. The cirrhosis, in the end, damages the functions of
the liver. Starts as a simple sign usually, the Hepatitis C disease can be life
threatening, if small liver disarrays and digestion problems are aren’t cured
properly.
Symptoms of HEP C
Infection
Also pronounced as an
invisible disease, Hepatitis C is very difficult to spot in the early state.
Symptoms could be simple digestion problems and abdominal pain. Some other
symptoms are feverish body, tiresomeness, and lack of interest in food. If the
patient is recurrently vomiting, complaining pain in abdominal area and
muscles, and claiming irregularities in urine and latrine habits, there could
be possibility of hepatitis C infection.
Treatment of Hepatitis C
The doctors prescribe
medicines to prevent the damaging of liver. But it is only probable in the
early stage. The doctors would also check if these medications are working for
the patient or not. For chronic Hepatitis C disease, a medical practitioner
would normally suggest Ribavirin and Interferon drug compositions.
The doctors may also
recommend liver transplant for hepatitis C
end-stage disease, when the liver gets completely damaged. But, the medical
condition of the patients needs to be thoroughly checked for this step.
